Six days left to vote for projects

By Jamie Lowe

There is only six days left to vote for five local projects in the Service NSW My Community Project funding.

Up to $260,000 is available for each NSW electorate to ‘‘help improve the wellbeing of people and communities’’, with the successful projects decided by the public.

Projects that receive the most ‘votes’ will received funding.

Five local organisations have submitted a project idea for the voting process. They are:

? Deni Ute Muster – an art mural to display the history of the Muster at the festival site.

? Edward River Paws at Play – to develop a safe and secure environment where dog lovers can take their dogs to enjoy socialising off the leash.

? Deniliquin Boat Club – for a new Ski School boat and equipment.

? Masonic Hall – to create wheelchair access and upgrade the toilet facilities.

? Mathoura Public School – for a sun safe shade sail over the school's outdoor play equipment.

They each receive points under the voting system, with NSW residents aged over 16 eligible to vote until August 15.
